You may have heard that The Bathford Bulletin is undergoing radical changes in its production. In future the production will be within the village and there will be much greater opportunity for readers and contributors to have a say in what they want it to achieve.

In the New Year, The Bathford Bulletin will start to look a bit different. No immediate major changes are planned except to clean up and sharpen the layout but thereafter we hope to explore various exciting new challenges depending on the feed back which we get.

We will be holding a public meeting in the New Year for anyone interested in any type of communications with the whole Parish and everyone will be welcome to come along and have their say. Our objective is a newsy magazine for the whole village and a reliable diary of coming events. 

What this means is that we are looking for everyone who wants to get involved, be that submitting news, reviews, stories, sporting fixtures and results or articles that you think others will find interesting. We will also be looking for practical help - editors, proof-readers etc.

At the moment our most important task is to produce an interim Bathford Bulletin for January 2008 and we are seeking the usual contributions and entries for this by 15th December. A vision for the future is that the Website at www.thebathfordbulletin.org will become an expanded version of the printed Bulletin. This means we could print longer articles with more pictures which could be read online or printed out for later reading. The website will also allow the publication of news and event dates before the printed version is published and last minute changes to events.
